Portable Card Reader

Our portable card readers are the ideal way to accept card payments within your premises with a range of up to 100 metres from the Bluetooth base unit. These pocket sized wireless devices are ideal for a pay-at-table environment.  The iWL258 version is a WiFi device allowing you to utilise any standard WiFi network running in your business.

The iWL252 and iWL258 portable card readers can process all major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express and are able to accept contactless payments – the fast, easy and secure way for your customers to pay. With UTP’s mobile card reader you can accept credit card payments on the move. These pocket sized credit card readers are wireless and are easy to carry around. The devices come with a roaming SIM card which means the credit card machine will automatically search for the strongest mobile phone signal anywhere in the UK. These devices can also be configured for pre-authorizations, gratuities & Cashback and have been upgraded to accept contactless transactions up to the new UK limit of £45.
